Oh, Spi, it hurts, doesn’t it? I am sure you will treasure those last moments with your mum, one day. In the meantime, take care of yourself and allow yourself to feel what you feel. Sending you love at this difficult time. X

Gerry. A fine blog and, as is your way, a challenge to fathom your viewpoint. But that, and the way you structure, keeps one reading right to the end, which is always rewarding.

Stovers Thinking ahead here... Does anyone know if you can export a novel from Word into Scrivener and, bearing in mind it will be formatted in Word and ebooks need to have the formatting removed, can Scrivener do that retrospectively and make it ebook-ready?

I'm not laughing, Jill. In fact, it's amazing that these days we have to justify our support for events such as a royal marriage. Is cynicism and humbug so rife? I don't think so. I believe the silent majority just stays, er, silent. Dissenting ...

Stovers I would've, but I was abducted by aliens today. They sucked out my brain and gave it the onceover, which, of course took time. I've only just arrived back home and the sun is going down. I imagine that it's too late to oblige, however, the thought was there. Damn those aliens!

Risking being laughed at here, but I did watch the wedding because I enjoy weddings and the pomp and ceremony we seem to do so well in this country. And ~ a certain American priest controversially spoke reams about the power of love. :)
